First aid on children

This course is designed for people who work with children in educational or care facilities as well as childminders, nannies etc. It is also ideal for parents, expectant parents, grandparents, other family members, and anyone who is interested in first aid on children. The course is taught by a qualified first aid instructor and meets the requirements of the German Social Accident Insurance.

In this course we teach you the basic first aid skills you need to know when working or being involved in childcare settings. Injuries and illnesses with children sometimes differ from those of adults. We help you understand child-specific symptoms and diseases and train you to use neccessary first aid skills. The course includes theoretical parts as well as a hands-on-approach that help you gaining the confidence to apply your newly learned in real life situations.

Requirements

To participate in this course you need to understand and speak English. You do not need any previous knowledge in first aid.

Course times and registration

The first aid course comprises 9 teaching units and usually takes place from 9am to 5pm. Registration for all courses is mandatory. Please use our online registration at the bottom of this page.

Course fee and BG-voucher

Course fee with BG-voucher: Free, excluding mandatory course manual worth 20,00 € (on-site payment)

Course fee without BG-voucher: 90,00 € including course manual worth 20,00 € (on-site payment)

Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive an official certificate as proof of participation.
